The New Test

  • Apr 10, 2016

I have tried a new technique for saving green wood from cracking. I soaked some pieces of cedar and a piece of oak in a solution of bubbles and water. I let the wood soak submerged for two days. I have removed them and set them on plastic drying racks to dry. I am hoping that the solution will reinforce the cells of the wood to reduce or prevent cracking.

I will keep you posted.
